Many of my sketches and drawings end up looking like little personalities. This one was so appealing that she begged to be turned into a quilt. The figure is obviously female, and quite agitated and full of energy, hence the title. The fabrics I chose for this quilt speak so clearly of energy and vitality. It is a always a challenge to find the fabric that expresses the mood or statement that I am trying to make, but it’s a challenge that I relish and so satisfying when it is accomplished well.
